Singer songwriter Drew Holcomb launched his band Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors in 2005. The band released their debut album, Washed in Blue the same year they emerged. They eventually dropped several efforts with Magnolia Records in the succeeding years. In 2011, the band earned their first breakthrough with sixth album Chasing Someday with Dualtone Records, peaking at number 8 on the Folk charts and entering the Billboard 200. The band eventually went back to working with Magnolia Records and released highly successful albums Medicine, Souvenir, and Dragons. In 2023, the band released their latest album Strangers No More. Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors have completed numerous tours across the U.S., supporting the Avett Brothers and Willie Nelson.
Christian contemporary music artist Ellie Holcomb used to be a member of Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors but she soon left the band and launched her solo career. Ellie Holcomb released her debut album As Sure as the Sun in 2014. The album made an immediate impact in the charts. The album peaked at number 34 on the Billboard 200 and number on the Christian chart. This 2025, Ellie Holcomb is scheduled to release her latest album Far Country.
